iGPSport BSC100 Cycling Smart Computer

The iGPSPORT BSC100 Max is a GPS cycling computer built around a large 3in anti-glare screen and a 40-hour battery. It records your rides, pairs with heart rate, speed, cadence and power sensors, and syncs to Strava and TrainingPeaks. At 68g it is also one of the lightest computers with a screen this size.

A 3in screen you can read at a glance

The 3in display is transflective, which reflects sunlight to make the numbers sharper in bright conditions rather than washing them out. The screen is black and white, which is part of why the battery lasts so long.

You can show up to eight data fields per page and customise each page to suit how you ride. An automatic backlight switches on in low light. A sunset reminder flashes 30 minutes before dark, so you know when to turn your lights on.

40 hours of battery

iGPSPORT rates the battery at up to 40 hours. That covers weeks of commuting, or several long weekend rides, between charges. It charges in about 1.5 hours over USB-C. The unit stores up to 750 hours of ride data, so rides are safe even if you don't sync for a while.

Accurate positioning and altitude

The BSC100 Max uses all five major satellite systems: GPS, BeiDou, GLONASS, Galileo and QZSS. Using more satellites helps it hold a steady fix among tall buildings, under tree cover and in hilly country.

It also has a barometric altimeter. It measures altitude from air pressure rather than GPS alone, so climbing figures are more consistent.

Sensors, lights and ride sync

Pair heart rate monitors, speed and cadence sensors and power meters to train with more than just speed and distance. It also connects to iGPSPORT smart front and rear lights.

After each ride, the iGPSPORT app uploads your data automatically to Strava and TrainingPeaks. Komoot syncs as well.

What the BSC100 Max doesn't do

The BSC100 Max is a ride recorder, not a navigator. It has no maps and no turn-by-turn directions. It does not pair with radar tail lights and does not connect to indoor smart trainers.

Can I use the BSC100 Max with an indoor trainer?

No. iGPSPORT lists smart trainers as not supported on the BSC100 Max.
