Hornit CLUG Mud Pad
The Hornit CLUG Mud Pad is a small wall protector that stops your bike's tyre marking the wall.
It goes behind the tyre when you store your bike on a Hornit CLUG or CLUG PRO, and sticks on with micro-suction, so it peels off without leaving residue or lifting paint.
Where it goes
When a bike is stored vertically on a CLUG, the rear tyre rests against the wall.
Over time, dirt and rubber from the tyre leave a mark.
Stick the Mud Pad at the spot where the tyre touches: peel off the backing, line it up and press it flat. It takes a few seconds.

Which walls it sticks to
The Mud Pad uses micro-suction rather than glue, so it needs a smooth, flat surface to grip.
- Works on: painted walls, glass and shiny smooth wood.
- Won't stick to: bare brick, rough render or textured surfaces.
If it slips, the wall or the pad is usually dirty.
Wipe the wall clean, wash the back of the pad in cold soapy water, let both dry and press it back on.
Reusable and wipe clean
The front wipes clean when it gets muddy. The back can be washed in soapy water, air-dried and reused again and again, so you can move it if you move your CLUG.
Frequently asked questions
Will the CLUG Mud Pad damage my paint?
No. It grips with micro-suction instead of adhesive, so it peels off without leaving sticky residue or lifting paint.
Will it stick to brick?
No. It needs a smooth, flat surface such as a painted wall, glass or shiny wood.
Which Mud Pad size do I need?
Small for road, gravel and hybrid tyres. Large for mountain bike tyres.
Do I need a Mud Pad if I store my bike horizontally?
It's designed for vertical storage, where the rear tyre rests against the wall. If your tyre touches the wall when stored horizontally, it protects that spot just the same.
Is it reusable?
Yes. Wash the back in soapy water, let it air-dry and reapply.
