Rocky Mountain were founded in 1981. They are a premium Canadian mountain bike specialist.
There range includes bikes like the:
- Element (light trail or downcountry)
- Instinct (trail)
- Instinct Powerplay (trail EMTB)
- Altitude (enduro)
- Altitude Powerplay (enduro EMTB)

Element. Downcountry.
Travel: [Fr] 130mm / [Rr] 120mm
The Element is Rocky Mountain's go-fast dual-suspension mountain bike.
It's designed for riders who prefer a mountain bike that holds speed and momentum over the trails.
And that's nimble and responsive at low speed.
The Element has a focus on climbing efficiency and maximising rider energy into forward motion.

Instinct. Trail.
Travel: [Fr] 150mm / [Rr] 140mm
If you want one mountain bike that does almost everything, then it's gotta be the Instinct.
One word summary: versatile.
OK, OK. 1 more-ish.
Super capable.

Altitude. Enduro.
Travel: [Fr] 170mm / [Rr] 160mm
If you're already riding a mid-travel bike to its edge, the Altitude will take you to the next level.
It's a super tame, easy to ride Enduro bike that almost feels like a trail bike at low speeds.
As the speed picks up, then you realise how smooth the Altitude feels over raw, exposed and gnarly trails.

Powerplay. Electric.
Powerplay = electric.
With 108 Nm of torque and 880 Watts of peak power, it's one of the most powerful electric mountain bikes available.
But what makes the motor (Dyname 4.0) truly exceptional is the way it delivers that power.
There are 2 types of Powerplay:
- Altitude Powerplay (enduro)
- Instinct Powerplay (trail)
