Why Choose a Giant Bike?
Founded in 1972, Giant has been a pioneer in the cycling industry, developing lightweight aluminium and carbon fibre frames, cutting-edge suspension systems and industry-leading e-bike technology.
Giant’s commitment to innovation ensures that every bike delivers efficiency, comfort and durability, making it a trusted choice for bike riders worldwide.
The next few sections are dedicated to explaining the different types of Giant bikes.

Giant Mountain Bikes (MTBs)
Giant produces hardtail MTB and dual-suspension MTBs.
The hardtail MTB range consists of the Giant Talon, Giant Fathom and Giant XTC.
For riders after a dual-suspension MTB, Giant's mountain bike range starts with the Giant Stance, then moves to the Giant Trance and Giant Reign.
To summarise:
New riders will love the Giant Stance. It's super versatile and comes in 2 wheel size options; the Stance 27.5 and Stance 29.
Pre-teens and smaller riders will find the Stance 27.5 easier to handle.
The Trance has more suspension and is more of a performance trail bike compared to the Stance above.
And the Reign is designed for extra stability on technical, raw, high-speed trails and is perfect for experienced riders.

Giant E Bikes
Designed with advanced pedal-assist technology, Giant e-bikes make every ride smoother, faster, and more enjoyable—whether you're commuting, tackling trails, or cruising through the city.
For general fitness, commuting and city riding consider the:
The Giant Anytour X E+ 3 is a brand-new Giant e-bike model. Think of it as an SUV.
An e-bike that's very capable of riding Alpine fire access roads one day and commuting through city streets the next.
The Giant mountain bike E-bike range (or E-MTB for short), consists of hardtail E-MTBs (front suspension only) such as the:
- Giant Talon E+
And dual-suspension E-MTBs (front and rear suspension):

Giant Road Bikes
There are 4 different types of Giant road bikes.
Those investing in their first road bike will love the Giant Contend AR.
Giant engineered the Contend to deliver calm handling, stable road feel and super comfortable ergonomics.
Next, the Giant Defy has the same focus on comfort and stable handling.
It's more of a performance machine though. All Defy models use - at minimum - a carbon-fibre frame.
Upper end price points use electronic gears, carbon wheels and more carbon components.
The all-rounder in Giant road bike family is the Giant TCR.
Like the Giant Defy, the TCR is a performance road bike. All TCR models use a carbon-fibre frame.
We'd suggest the TCR for riders who have good foundational fitness or some experience riding a road bike.
Giant has designed the TCR for agility, fast handling and an aggressive riding position.
Our Giant TCR page has more information.
The Giant Propel is an aero road bike.
If you're average speed hovers in the high 30 km/h range, you'll appreciate the Propel's ability to reduce drag.

Giant Revolt (gravel bike)
The Giant Revolt is designed for cyclists who want the freedom to explore gravel roads, dirt paths and long-distance routes with confidence.
Giant has tuned the handling of the Revolt to offer exceptional stability on unstable surfaces. The steering is calm and predictable too, not nervous.
The Revolt has several price points. There's 2 aluminium frame options (called the Revolt):
And several carbon-frame builds (called the Revolt Advanced):
A slight variation of the Giant Revolt is the Revolt X Advanced
Anytime you see the 'X' means it's got front suspension. Designed for riders who are spending time on raw, exposed trails where front suspension is important for control.

Giant Cross City
The Giant Cross City is designed as a general fitness, urban and commuter bike. It's designed for riders who value efficiency but still want a bike that's comfortable with stable handling.
No front suspension keeps the overall weight down and makes the Cross City more responsive.
There are several models:

Giant Roam
The Giant Roam is one of our popular recreational hybrid bikes.
That's because it's really versatile. We get riders who want a general fitness bike, relaxed commuter bike or touring bike.
It can do almost anything. It can't handle mountain bike trails and it won't be as light or fast as the Giant FastRoad.
There are several models:

Giant FastRoad
The Giant FastRoad is designed for riders who want the efficiency of a lightweight road bike with the confidence and control of a flat handlebar.
Perfect for fitness riding, commuting, and long-distance training, the FastRoad delivers a smooth, fast, and comfortable experience on paved roads and bike paths.
The Giant FastRoad range comes in several builds.
Models with the word "Advanced" use a carbon frame. And without, they use Giant's premium alloy frame.
